Find out how was Mabel’s experience in EC Vancouver!

Mabel was in Mexico three months ago when she decided to take a flight to Vancouver to learn English in Canada. Here is what he thinks about our English courses in Vancouver and her experience in Canada. I chose to study with EC English because of the system that they use, it seems to be the best one in order to get a high score in IELTS. There’s no other option where I can find any Higher Score system for IELTS preparation. There are many things that I liked about the teachers in EC but I would say that they are very friendly, because they are available to help every student at any time. Besides, EC teachers are very creative because they’re always looking for new ways to teach, giving us additional material to improve our English skills.   My best memories of EC are the great times when I met friends from all over the world, these people are going to be my friends forever because we shared incredible moments discovering Vancouver together. We went to Grouse Mountain, Lynn Canyon Park, Lower Seymour Conservation Reserve, Pacific Regional Park, and Burnaby Lake. In these places you can find peace and you will get in touch with nature. They’re great options for someone who loves hiking. On the other hand, if you are not interested in hiking but you really enjoy spending time in nature then I’m pretty sure that you will have an awesome time in Deep Cove, Stanley Park, Granville Island or the city of Victoria. You will find that there’s not enough time to discover all the beautiful places that Vancouver has for you because it’s a big city. To make the experience more enjoyable you will find polite people on the streets and you will not have to … Read more

Elisabet tells us how she learnt English in Vancouver

Elisabet is one of our EC students, she wanted to study English in Canada, so she came to study at EC Vancouver last April. She would like to share her experience with you.   I chose EC to study because a friend of mine had already studied there and she gave the school a good recommendation. Actually, when I got there I received all the info that I needed during my first week and all the staff was always willing to help me with any question that I might have had. After a few weeks in the school, I can say that the teachers are really good, they perfectly know the curriculum they are teaching. The methodology used is the most effective one and they all do a great job. I will definitely recommend EC Vancouver to study English because the way EC teachers teach is amazing. I will remember the after school activities that EC offers, they really helped me to meet new people. ==== Are you looking for an English school in Vancouver? Antoine Treilles tells about his time in an English school in Vancouver

Antoine Treilles from France shares his experience while attending Higher Score TOEIC classes at EC English school in Vancouver. Hey everybody! My name is Antoine. I’m from France, and more exactly from a suburb of Paris. I’ve been in Vancouver for 5 and half months now. I chose the TOEIC class because I have to pass this exam for my future job. I have to say that at the beginning, I didn’t know what we would do in the TOEIC class. My first impression was good, even if I was the only European in the class. All the students were so nice and funny. We learnt a lot every day – new words and their definitions, and, for me, understanding the meaning of each word and all the other words in the same word family is the most important thing. And now it’s time to introduce the great teacher of this class…Mr. Jeremy. He always tried to explain English very well by using good words for the students who don’t understand something. We talked about many topics with him and each other, so we could also practice speaking during the class. Every Friday, we had practice tests to prepare for the real TOEIC test. Well, now is the time for me to go back home, but I hope one day to have the opportunity to come back here. Bye!
