EC Miami Language Center had to say their ‘see you later’ to Joel Krikorian on September 30. His presence are missed by the students and the staffs, as he brings us joy her at EC Miami. Joel is kind, extremely helpful, and most importantly a good friend to the students and his peers. Below is Joel’s testimonial about his 3 month contract with EC Miami. He talks about his experiences at EC Miami and his recommendations as to what YOU should do in Miami. Read about For a three-month contracted period over the summer, I had the pleasure of working at EC Miami as the student services coordinator. As such I got to talk to and spend a lot of time with our fantastic students from all around the world. This enabled me to learn a lot about their cultures and experiences learning English and living in the United States as students. Moreover, I got to know the amazing staff at EC, both the teachers and administrators. We had a lot of talks, laughs, and learning moments. What are my recommendations for English language learners at EC Miami? First, take advantage of the free classes offered every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday! You will maximize your learning if you do. During your free time, be sure to cross the bridge into Miami. Grab a Starbucks coffee at the Intercontinental Hotel and walk down the River Walk. Then head north to Bayfront Park, Bayside Marketplace, and Museum Park to enjoy the gorgeous views of Biscayne Bay. Use the free Metromover to get around and enjoy a bird’s eye view of the city.
