Happy Women’s Day!

Hello EC students! Today is International Women's Day! Although in the UK not a lot of people celebrate it, I thought it would be good to remind everyone about this occasion…! Have a look at these links and find out more about the meaning of this day.   http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/international-womens-day http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Women's_Day http://www.icrc.org/eng/war-and-law/protected-persons/women/index.jsp     Fabi Xx

Invisible children.

Hello everyone! Today I'd like you all to have a look at this short film about Invisible Children. Invisible children is a movement seeking to end the conflict in Uganda and stop the abduction of children for use as child soldiers. It is an amazing video which aims to make all of us aware of what is happening and what we can do to help this initiative. Here you go   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y4MnpzG5Sqc   Fabi xX
